With Pride Month right around the corner, join BIGNY for their May meeting focused on how the LGBTQ community are creating and contributing to the book publishing world. The panelists has a wide variety of experience including LGBTQ history, activism, religious conflict with LGBTQ lifestyles, coverage of notable hate crimes, conversion therapy, romance and entering the world of YA. This is sure to explore the many areas where LGBTQ authors are making their stories known today.

The meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 15 at Random House (1745 Broadway, 2nd Floor) with beer, wine, and hors d’oeuvres at 5:15 pm and the program at 6:15 pm.
