Join YPG for the season two premiere of Hulu’s Golden Globe– and Emmy Award–winning adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s classic dystopian thriller The Handmaid’s Tale! Why watch it alone when you could watch it with fellow book and TV lovers on Wednesday, April 25 from 6:30–8:30 pm in Room 5172 at Penguin’s 375 Hudson St. offices?! We’ll have TEN free copies of the book available on a first come, first serve basis, so the earlier you arrive, the better! Popcorn and assorted refreshments will also be served. As this is season is not based on the original book as season one was, we will also discuss what it means to write an original screenplay sequel to an adapted screenplay pilot season.
