YPG CARES: PROJECT CICERO
Volunteer with Project Cicero and help put books straight into the hands of New York City teachers and librarians! Project Cicero is a fantastic organization that, to date, has placed two million books into more than 11,000 classrooms and school libraries reaching over 500,000 children in under-resourced schools in New York City. Volunteers can help out by attending their book fair and sorting books to make it easier for teachers to find what they need or directing teachers as necessary.
YPG Cares is looking forward to helping out on Saturday, March 10th and Sunday, March 11th at Hotel Pennsylvania (401 7th Ave at 33rd St.). You can volunteer for the following shifts: Saturday, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, or Sunday, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. We’ll be going somewhere nearby after both shifts for lunch and/or drinks.
