YPG Cares: Brooklyn Superhero Supply Co/826NYC
We are looking for 5 to 10 volunteers to work a Maker Shift at Brooklyn Superhero Supply Co. Saturday, December 16 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm (372 Fifth Avenue, Brooklyn). The Brooklyn Superhero Supply Co. is a real store that sells superhero supplies and accessories. All proceeds from BSSCo. directly support 826NYC, a nonprofit writing and tutoring center whose mission is to encourage the exploration of endless possibility through the power of writing.
Volunteers may asked to be cut labels, fill cans with sand and tinsel, box up blasters and goggles, make buttons, affix price tags and labels, and other simple but crucial tasks in support of 826NYC and its mission.
