Networking for Introverts
Calling all introverts! Do publishing pitches make you tremble in fear? Does just the mention of a mixer make you break out in a cold sweat? Then join YPG for a panel on Networking for Introverts!
The 45-minute panel discussion will feature publishing professionals (and self-proclaimed introverts!) who will speak on the strategies that make networking and communicating in business easier and help them be successful in their careers. The panel will discuss not only networking tactics, but also how to take on pitching at conferences, approaching authors, and other aspects of their jobs they may find uncomfortable.
The event will take place on Tuesday, July 25th at 6:30 p.m. at Penguin Random House, 1745 Broadway, New York, NY. Please bring your questions, as we will open the panel to a 15 minute Q&A session after the discussion. We hope the conversation will help everyone who attends develop their own strategies to master, or at least feel more confident, tackling their job responsibilities.
