*Rogue* World Book Night Giveaway
World Book Night (WBN) is a super-fun, global effort for book lovers like us to spread the joy of reading by giving away books. While the US’s official partnership with WBN ended in 2014, we at YPG have continued the tradition. This year, we are having our very own ROGUE World Book Night, so all you need to do is show up under the arch at Washington Square Park on Wednesday, April 26th to join in on this YPGCares tradition!
TO JOIN THE GIVE-AWAY: Start collecting books NOW so you have about 15 prepared to pitch and give away to potential readers. If you can’t get 15 books, no worries—just bring what you have. (It goes without saying to please not take anything from your company without permission for use in a giveaway. We recommend you start with your own personal bookshelf, but we trust your judgment!)
WHEN & WHERE: Meet us under the arch at Washington Square Park (Address) on Wednesday, April 26th, at 6:30pm sharp with your books in tow. We will then start giving out books to passersby in and around Washington Square Park, for no reason other than the sharing the love of reading, person to person!
AFTERWARDS: There will be a happy hour celebration at around 7:30pm after the giveaway ends. Anyone who has given away books, or who just wants to join the party is welcome! The location will be Barcade at 6 Saint Marks Place.
