YPG DISCOUNT: BIGNY Meeting: President’s Night with Michael Pietsch
The Book Industry Guild of New York (BIGNY) is once again offering YPG members discounted admission to their monthly meeting. The January spotlight meeting is President’s Night with Michael Pietsch on Tuesday, January 10th at Penguin Random House (1745 Broadway, 2nd floor). Michael Pietsch, Hachette Book Group CEO, has worked in book publishing for nearly forty years. As CEO, he has overseen the creation of the nonfiction publishing division Hachette Books and the acquisitions of Perseus Books, Black Dog & Leventhal, and Hyperion Books. In his career he has also worked at Little, Brown and Company, David R. Godine, Charles Scribner’s Sons, and Crown Publishing.
Admission for YPG members is slashed in half down to $20, which includes beer, wine, hors d’oeuvres, and networking from 5:15 to 6:15. The program starts at 6:15. To register, please visit http://bigny.org/event/
