YPG Cares May Planning Committee Meeting
Please join the YPG Cares Planning Committee at our next meeting on Monday, May 23rd at the AAP Office (71 Fifth Avenue, 2nd Floor) at 6:30PM to get involved with planning and programming for YPG Cares! YPG Cares was formed in support of the YPG mission to give entry-level employees a chance to build a community outside of their own publishing house while supporting literacy-related initiatives in the volunteer community of New York City. Founded in October 2010, it has grown to 260 volunteers from over 40 publishing houses and literary agencies in the New York area, supporting over 50 charities!
The committee is looking for new people to step in as leads with are many partner organization relationships, to plan and execute events for our YPG Cares volunteers. We are also looking for people with relationships to organizations we might not already have, so we can branch out even more and help support literacy as far and wide as possible in the NYC area!
