There are so many questions to be had when it comes to perfecting your resume: What will make me stand out among dozens of other applicants? How can I briefly highlight all of my many accomplishments? Will everything fit on one page? What if I don’t have enough experience and my resume looks inadequate? Are there any red flags to avoid? We know how challenging it can be to craft the perfect resume, so we want to help! Come to our workshop where a select group of panelists will be on hand to address all of these issues and more. The panel will be moderated by YPG Planning Committee member Stephanie Riordan.

Please come prepared with plenty of questions, or submit them online through the form below – we are looking forward to answering them all! We are also offering attendees the opportunity to submit their resumes anonymously in advance. From those submitted, we will randomly select a handful to be critiqued in front of the group. While your name will not be mentioned, we do want you to be aware of this when you submit your resume.

The presentation, Q&A, and discussion will take place on Wednesday, October 21st from 6:30-7:30pm in the Hachette Book Group office (1290 Sixth Avenue). Panelists include:

  • Natalie Loucas, Senior Manager, Penguin Random House
  • Lindsay Pryor, Human Resources Coordinator, Hachette Book Group
  • Andrew Harwell, Senior Editor, HarperCollins Publishers

Please RSVP HERE and submit any questions you would like answered. If you would like to offer your resume for potential critique, email it to sriordan@penguinrandomhouse.com with the subject line “Resume for October 21st event.” #ypgHR
