PW Star Watch
Publishers Weekly, in association with The Frankfurt Book Fair, is excited to announce that nominations are now open for PW Star Watch, a new program recognizing exceptional, up-and-coming U.S. book trade talent. Ideal nominees are emerging publishing professionals who have demonstrated remarkable ability, innovative ideas, and a passion for moving the industry forward.
There is no age cap or professional discipline restrictions for nominees—we seek to honor promising professionals from across all segments of the trade who have exhibited the potential to be our industry’s next great leaders. Anyone working in the publishing industry may nominate themselves, or someone else for the Star Watch honor.
A select number of Star Watch honorees will be featured in PW, and feted at a reception in New York on the evening of September 17. Of the group, one finalist will be chosen to receive an all-expense paid trip to the Frankfurt Book Fair in October, and will be provided with an All-Access pass to the Fair and the Business Club as well as exclusive networking opportunities throughout the Fair. All of the finalists will be invited to attend a celebratory evening event in Frankfurt the week of the Fair.
