Did you know that May 21st is World Day for Cultural Diversity? Though this day was originally set up by UNESCO to encourage a dialogue about issues of diversity awareness in the UN General Assembly, it has grown an annual celebration called Do One Thing (for Diversity and Inclusion).
This year, YPG wants to do our part. Our One Thing will be a Publishing Potluck Party, and you’re invited!
Join us from 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday, May 21st (location TBD) to celebrate this day with some deliciously diverse dishes. Buy or make your favorite dish from your own culture or another one that you love, bring a book that features culturally diverse characters, and don’t forget to bring your appetites! SIGN UP HERE!
