WOMEN EXECUTIVES IN PUBLISHING PANEL, HOSTED BY THE WNBA
From the Women’s National Book Association of NYC, a panel of four female publishing executives will speak about their career paths, the challenges they’ve faced, and the advice they would offer to young publishing professionals who hope to achieve similar success in business and executive roles. YPG has been invited to join the WNBA for this discussion on Wednesday, April 8th, from 6:00-7:30pm at Penguin Random House (1745 Broadway, 2nd floor Café Auditorium). Panelists include:
- Amanda Close (Senior Vice President, Digital Marketplace Development, Random House)
- Susan Katz (President and Publisher, HarperCollins Children’s Books)
- Margaret Marbury (Vice President, Harlequin Single Title)
- Mara Anastas (Vice President and Publisher, Aladdin and Simon Pulse, Simon & Schuster, Inc.)
You’ll hear tips on developing business and management skills while navigating a creative field; career planning and strategy; negotiation and self-branding; and more. We capped this event at 225 people and are looking forward to a great turnout.
