YPG Cares Volunteers Paint Aquatic-Themed Mural at PS 65Q

On Saturday, January 24, 2015 YPG Cares members from several AAP member publishing houses volunteered their day and artistic talents to create a spectacular underwater themed mural for PS 65Q: The Raymond York Elementary School’s library. YPG Cares had previously volunteered at PS 65Q for New York Cares Day 2014.

The talented illustrator/designer (and YPG member!) Annie Ericsson (check out her artwork at http://www.anniebethericsson.com/) sketched out the design for the mural beforehand. On Saturday, the YPG Cares converged on PS 65Q in the Ozone Park neighborhood in Queens to bring the sketch to life. Thank you to our volunteers for painting such an inspired mural, and thank you PS 65Q for having us back!
