YPG Bay Area Book-to-Film Club: Gone Girl

GONE GIRL has taken the book industry by storm. Known primarily as a mid-list mystery author, Gillian Flynn rose to the top of the charts with her third book, a haunting mystery thriller that shocked readers with plot twists and two unreliable narrators. It’s been a fixture of the New York Times bestseller list and has been hailed by critics. The film rights caught the attention of Reese Witherspoon’s production company and Director David Fincher (GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO), known for his moody suspense films, signed on with the project early on. Oh yeah, and Ben Affleck stars… Need we say more?
Which is better, the book or the movie? Join fellow YPG Bay Area members as we head to Berkeley and hit the movies together on Saturday, October 18th.
