YPG Back-to-School Happy Hour with YPG Cares
Summer Fridays are almost done, and the wonderful days of Fall are in our sights. We’re talking sweater weather, fluffy scarves, and that crispness in the air that awakens your senses and gets you excited about doing something besides planting you caboose in front of your window A/C unit. It also happens to be the time of year that kids are heading back to school, and you know what that means: fewer tourists and fewer rowdy kids on the subway interrupting your commute! So let’s celebrate this wonderful change of the season by getting together for a Back-to-School Happy Hour at Slainte (located at 304 Bowery, between Bleecker and Houston) onTuesday, August 19th at 7:00pm.
We’re doing something special this time around and are asking for everyone to please bring in a school supply that we’ll be donating to Materials for the Arts, New York’s premiere donation supplies program! HERE is a list of MFTA’s most-wanted items, so go to the nearest drug store and pick up paint or brushes, glue or tape, glitter or crayons, markers or coloring books, or anything small that you want to donate. YPG Cares will orchestrate the materials drop off for you. SIGN UP HERE to attend. (Bonus: YPG will provide some give-away books for you guys as rewards for your generosity, first come, first served.) Looking forward to seeing you there!
