Join the Crew Against Literary Scurvy at StoryLove #10
Wander from yer crows nest thar matey and set yer sails for the The Drama Book Shop (250 W. 40th Street) on Tuesday, November 19th from 7:00-8:30pm for StoryLove #10. Join the YPG Cares crew in a fun-filled skirmish with school kids’ short stories, pizza, chocolate-chocolate chip cheesecake with an Oreo cookie crust, and libations. Help write encouraging, three-to-four sentence story reviews to capture budding new authors’ interests and dig for hidden tweetable one-line treasures for a chance to win laughs from your table mates and valuable pirate booty, like FREE TICKETS to Story Pirate’s monthly adult-only After Dark Show.
(Note: The young, budding authors’ creative works are present for this event — not the children themselves. Love sick for more Story Love? Story Pirates hosts “public” Story Love events. Next dates are November 12, December 17, and January 14.)
