YPG Book to Film Club: Twilight
Thanks to those of you who joined us for our last film club viewing and discussion of SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK by Matthew Quick. It’s summertime, and our next YPG Book to Film Club selection is a classic beach read: TWILIGHT, based on the novel by Stephanie Meyer (Little, Brown, 2005). This brooding girl-meets-vampire love story kickstarted the YA paranormal romance boom and spawned one of the most successful book and movie franchises of our time. The 2008 film was directed by Catherine Hardwicke and stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.
The viewing and discussion will take place on Wednesday, July 24th, from 7:00-9:30pm at Hachette (466 Lexington Ave, 13th floor atrium (not yet confirmed, location subject to change).
