Women In Book Publishing: Career Opportunities, Challenges And Advice

Cincopa video hosting solution for your website. Another great product from Cincopa Send Files.

Across the U.S., full-time working women make about $0.77 for ever dollar made by men and in many industries they are not afforded the same opportunities. In book publishing, however, women hold positions of power at every level and seem to have the same opportunities as men. Still, it wasn’t always that way and women face unique challenges in the workplace — even if that workplace is a book publishing company. Join Digital Book World, Workman Publishing and the Association of American Publishers’ Young to Publishing Group for an evening of discussion, networking and cocktails on June 18 at Workman headquarters to hear about opportunities, challenges and advice for women building their careers in publishing.

When: June 18, from 6:30 to 9:00 PM
Where: Workman HQ, 225 Varick St, New York, NY
