YPG’s Great Gatsby Soiree
In honor of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s American novel classic and the blockbuster movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire premiering this month, we’re celebrating the occasion in 1920s high-class style on Wednesday, May 15th from 6-10pm at affaire french bistro & lounge (50 Avenue B near 4th St). Ladies, assemble those flapper dresses, pearls and headpieces; gentlemen, break out those suits, fedoras and wing-tip shoes, and join fellow YPGers for a night of jazz music and flowing cocktails in a vibrant, speakeasy atmosphere! Roaring Twenties attire is not required, but highly recommended, and the five best costumes will win free copies of THE GREAT GATSBY movie tie-in (courtesy of Simon & Schuster). $5 Happy Hour specials (select beer, wine and mixed cocktails) will be in full effect.
