YPG Enjoys Brews and Board Games at Fat Cat

On Wednesday, April 25, at 5:30 pm, about 25 YPG members from a collection of AAP member houses and several literary agencies gathered at Fat Cat to kick back and relax at a somewhat different kind of happy hour. Attendees clustered around foosball tables and Scrabble boards to blow off office steam and chat with their publishing colleagues. At the same time, they had access to Fat Cat’s extensive drink menu, which, in addition to beers, hard ciders, and wine, boasts organic juices, hand-blended sodas, coffee, and teas. The low-key, relaxed atmosphere made for an enthusiastic crowd, and YPGers seemed to be an agreement that this is an event that bears repeating!
