On Wednesday, March 7, YPG is helping LitWorld support global literacy in two very simple ways:
- Via Social Media: Take five minutes to join the World Read Aloud Day Facebook event, find LitWorld on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Tumblr, and put the word out (Twitter Hashtag: #readaloud) on your own.
- Pop by the World Read Aloud Day NYC Celebration at Books of Wonder (18 West 18th Street) on March 7any time between 9:30am and 7:00pm—after work, on your lunch break—to hear the following authors read aloud from their favorite books: Pam Allyn, Robert L. Forbes, Stephen Savage, Ebbie Dadey, Caroline Leavitt, Walter Dean Myers, Katherine Paterson, Peter Lerangis, Libba Bray, and C. Alexander London!
