While not an appropriate setting for most twelve-year-old birthday parties, Slainte was the perfect place to celebrate YPG’s official birthday on March 15. Members mingled in a reserved section in the back of the East Village Irish pub and toasted YPG with buy one, get one free draft beers; well drinks; and house wines. There was talk of plans for St. Patrick’s Day, upcoming YPG events, networking, and, of course, books!
