The YPG’s community service initiative, YPG Cares, was formed to promote our mission to give junior employees a chance to build a network outside of their own publishing houses and to support literacy-related intiatives in New York City’s volunteer community.

YPG Cares Shows Story Love (#7)

NEXT TUESDAY, March 12th, come show your Story Love with YPG Cares! From 7:00-9:00pm, YPG Cares will be holding our seventh volunteer event for the Story Pirates at the Drama Book Shop (250 W. 40th Street) to hand-write positive editorial feedback on the short stories local NYC schoolchildren have submitted during the year.

Packing Event for Operation Paperback

Thanks to everyone who contributed to this year’s Book and a Buck Drive for Operation Paperback--we received over 240 books! We now need two or three additional YPG Cares volunteers to come help us label and pack the boxes for shipping on Tuesday, November 20, from 6:00-8:30pm at the AAP New York offices.
