Brigid Black (@brigidblack) is a production assistant at the Berkley imprint of Penguin Group (USA), where she specializes in SAP and works closely with mass market and trade reprints. Before her job in publishing, she interned for numerous nonprofits and spent a year battling file folders as a data retention specialist. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Brigid graduated from Villanova University with degrees in English and French. On the YPG Committee, she serves on the Online and Programming subcommittees. Alexis Bressler (@AlexisBressler) is a human resources coordinator at Macmillan. In her current role, she primarily handles entry-level and intern recruitment for all of Macmillan’s imprints. Before entering the publishing industry, she interned in HR in the construction, nonprofit, hospitality, and manufacturing industries. On the YPG Committee, Alexis serves on the Member Services and Social Events subcommittees. She graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in labor studies and employee relations. |

Adam Goldberg (@adamhrgoldberg) is the associate director of Human Resources at Hachette Book Group (www.hachettebookgroup.com) and on the YPG planning committee he is a part of the Member Services and Communications subcommittees. Prior to joining the book publishing industry in 2008, he worked for HR departments within the digital advertising, retail, and manufacturing industries.
