Stephanie Bowen (@sfbowen) is the manager and editor of the YPG website (www.youngtopublishing.com) and an assistant editor at Doubleday, an imprint of Random House. She works on history (including David Hoffman’s Pulitzer Prize-winning book, The Dead Hand), biography, memoir (including Megan Stack’s Every Man in this Village is a Liar, a National Book Award finalist), pop psychology/science, and political theory and current affairs books. Before she joined Doubleday, she was an editorial assistant at Northwestern University Press while in college. Stephanie graduated from Northwestern with a BA in English and Spanish. |

Ariel Brenman first became interested in publishing while working at his local Barnes & Noble before entering college. Currently, he is employed as a Special Sales Assistant at Sterling Publishing, a wholly owned subsidiary of Barnes & Noble. Really, what are the chances? Prior to entering the wide world of publishing, Ariel graduated from Columbia University and the Jewish Theological Seminary with BAs in English & Jewish Philosophy, respectively. |

Kate Childs (@kate_childs) is the chair of the YPG Committee and an Associate Publicist with the Random House Publishing Group, focusing on new media. She previously served as the executive assistant to Gina Centrello, the president and publisher of the Random House Publishing Group. Before joining Little Random, she participated in the Random House Associates Program with the Crown Publishing Group. Kate graduated with a bachelor’s degree in government and an art minor from Hamilton College. |

Mark Doyle (@doyle_dcvertigo) is an Associate Editor at DC Comics/Vertigo, working on a variety of graphic novels and monthly comics, including the Eisner Award-winning American Vampire. Before Vertigo, Mark worked as a development assistant for ABC News. Mark graduated from Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in Film and Television. |

Adam Goldberg (@adamhrgoldberg) is the Associate Director of Human Resources at Hachette Book Group (www.hachettebookgroup.com) and on the YPG planning committee he is a part of the Member Services and Communications subcommittees. Prior to joining the book publishing industry in 2008, he worked for HR departments within the digital advertising, retail, and manufacturing industries. Adam received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and stayed there to complete his graduate degree in Labor and Employment Relations. |

Guillian Helm (@guillian_helm) is an editorial assistant at Simon Pulse where she immerses herself in the wild and crazy (and occasionally dark and angsty) world of young adult fiction. When not reliving her own (now dated) high school days through the lens of fictional teen drama, she focuses on Programming for the YPG Planning Committee—scheduling BBLs, finding bars with drink specials, and thinking of more cool stuff for YPGers to do. Prior to working at S&S, she attended the Columbia Publishing Course. She received her undergraduate degree from Harvard College in History & Literature. |

Travers Johnson (@TraversJ) is an Assistant Editor at the Gotham and Avery imprint of Penguin Group (USA), where he works on compelling nonfiction titles. Prior to joining Gotham and Avery, Travers participated in the Random House Associates Program with the Doubleday Broadway Publishing Group. Alexandra Ragheb (@alexragheb)found her way into publishing after pursuing a brief career in film production. She works in Sales as a part of the Random House Children’s Book Group, working on children’s, middle grade, and young adult titles. As the co-chair of YPG Cares and a part of the National Book Awards House Party Committee, she thrives on promoting literacy for children and helping her community build a strong foundation through philanthropy. A recipient of the International Baccalaureate Degree, Alex went on to receive her BA in Visual and Media Arts and a double minor in Business and Photography from Emerson College in Boston. |

Sara’s first experience in the wide world of publishing was an internship at Miramax Books in high school. Caitlin Sweeny (@Caitlin_Sweeny) is an Associate Marketing Manager at Scholastic Media by day and YPG’s social media guru and the voice of @YoungtoPub by night (and lunch and coffee breaks). Being an employee at Scholastic has fulfilled her childhood dream of working at the same company that published her beloved ANIMORPHS. When she’s not working or tweeting, Caitlin will likely be found reading or trying to convince her cats to hang out with her. Caitlin graduated from Binghamton University with a BA in English. |
