YPG Book-to-Film Under the Stars: Fantastic Mr. Fox
It’s summertime, so there’s no better time to take our Book to Film club to the lawn—Riverside Park lawn to be exact—for their Summer on the Hudson outdoor film series (HERE). Join us on Thursday, August 13th at dusk with picnic baskets and blankets in tow to enjoy one of NYC’s great outdoor movie nights. We’ll be handing out some Fantastic Mr. Fox swag that would make Roald Dahl proud. So dive into this childhood classic (most recently published by Puffin) and join us for a quintessentially summer event! Even though the actual movie starts at dusk, to get a spot on the grass, you should be there at least an hour early. I’ll be there early to try and snag us a spot, but these events tend to fill up quickly so try to arrive as soon as possible. YPG event organizer Emily Brock will have a YPG sign and will send out details on what crazy color she’s wearing the day of so that you can find her. Feel free to bring snacks and come in groups!
Location: Riverside Park (72nd Track and Lawn) Time: Dusk (please arrive at 7:30pm for the movie at approximately 8:30pm) RSVP HERE!
